Steven Plumb to speak at Houston CPA Society's Spring Accounting Expo
Houston, Texas – April 4, 2005

Steven Plumb,CPA will be speaking at the Spring Accounting Expo to be held at Reliant Park April 19-20, 2005. This annual event is sponsored by the Houston CPA Soceity, a Chapter of the Texas Society of Certfied Public Accountants. Mr. Plumb's topic is "Advanced Internet Research". Participants will learn about new and effective internet researching techniques through the use of popular search engines and other websites. The Houston CPA Society was organized in 1928 for the purpose of networking and social interaction.  In the 1940s the Chapter began offering continuing education for its members.  Since then the organization has become a permanent source of continuing education as well as a professional network for CPAs, not only in Houston, but throughout Texas.  Over 31,000 hours of committee-sponsored continuing education was provided to Chapter members this past year.
